The project focused mainly on the consequences of human activities in highly populated areas on the quality and quantity of the groundwater/drinking water. The project has been conceived by the ÖFPZ Arsenal, in collaboration with the other partners (of the network), to develop collaborations between academic personnel, experts and public administration in the field of hydrology, in order to define the existing problems, to propose methodologies in solving these problems in the frame of the different background and to demonstrate in 12 months the feasibility of the solution and its methods as the basis for future cooperations. The project has been carried out in India by the ÖFPZ Arsenal in collaboration with the other partners of the network. At the same time, information have been collected and discussed in India, Austria and Italy.
