The first thing was to calibrate the model to get the material properties. They have been obtained from tests. There was a 600 meter deep hole out of which the sample have been extracted. We have also had the drawdown in the first, the second, third, fourth, fifth aquifer and we checked for instance, we calibrated our model over the first from the year 1930 to 1970 and where we were able to reproduce the drawdown in the first aquifer close to Venice. You see the dots, the continuum line are the calculation, the dots are the measured values. Then from 1970 we made the predictions. The model has been very well calibrated because the predictions are quite good.
