Actually the first question which I would like to rise is. Who will test? The testing is basically done by the programmer.
Basically we have a test team, which is different from the programmer and the test team may or may not include the programmer. When the programmer is included in the test team, when the programmer sits along with the test team his or her role would be limited to providing the clarifications that are sought by the test team.
