What are the general objectives of our integrated ground water management
concept?
Overall the protection of the quantitative and qualitative status for
water resources is a fact. How can it be achieved? It can be achieved
by the protection of ground water and surface water from all contamination.
All contamination means the direct industrial and municipal discharges,
the leachates and the scattered pollution in the tanks as well as in the
run off channels.
By the efficient treatment of waste water according to region-specific-requirements.
Under region-specific-requirements we mean that the industry has to declare
in a transparent way what is the composition of their sewage, of their
waste.
Next, by the definition of priority measures, meaning to set up of a graduated
water management concept.
Further by the abandonment of isolated solutions.
Focus on sustainability and long term improvement of water quality and
finally by the integration of water protection measures into regional
planning and development.
