The high yelding wells are found in the Pocharam village, which is irrigating about 10 acres. Yield bore wells is more than 100 m2/day. In Peddakanjerla, 300 meters from the Nakkavagu, which total depth is 12 meters, the water is struck at about 3 meters. At Baitul, 70 meters from the Nakkavagu, a filter point has a depth of 8 meters and it is fully cased indicating this situated in the alluvium.
