Some wells situated at about 400/500 meters from the Nakkavagu are not in use because of groundwater contamination in the Arutla village.

structures are trapped by 15 centimetres dia wells at the extent up to 50
meters in the granite. Filter points are seen in the alluvium of Baitul,
