A very important part for the success of applying the isotope method,
for all further evaluation activities in connection with the data from
surface or ground waters, is a knowledge of the basic data, the knowledge
of the climatic conditions of the rainfall for instance. Not only of the
amount, density and distribution of the rainfall, but also of the isotopic
composition of the rainfall. These data are called input data and are
the premises for the interpretation and the evaluation of the output data
