We know that satellites have been widely used for distribution functions, we get our TV signals through the satellites, it has also been used for broadcasting functions, it has been used for navigation, aviation, telecommunications; but today we all know that we use satellites extensively for navigating ourselves or in our cars etc. using GPS, and it has been used for paging, also. Satellites are good candidates for mobile satellite communication.
