If we look at some of the specific evaluation systems, there has been an evaluation system, ADAS (Architecture design and assessment system), which has particularly formulated for evaluating the real time fault tolerant computer architecture for flight control applications. This particular architecture has been tested with 3 and 4 processor architecture. Incidentally the findings of this particular evaluation have shown that the 100% utilisation for single processor and 65-70% to second processor. For 4-processor system, it has gone down to 40%. A pragmatic assessment can be made based on these results.
