The other typical classification of computers is in terms of:

Single instruction, single data;
Single instruction multiple data;
Multiple instruction, single data;
Multiple instruction, multiple data.

This classification has come into significance after the vector computers, massively parallel computers have come into picture. Earlier this classification did not have significance.
The von Neumann model and data flow model is also used for classification of computers.
