A sample of the simulation of the dynamical behaviour of a cracked rotor is shown in the following figures for the nodes corresponding to the bearing of the system, which is a four oil-film bearing, two rigidly connected shaft rotor. The model employed is that of the test rig of Politecnico di Milano, shown in the photo.
