Another type of local bow is a bow induced by coupling misalignment. We have the same expression for the previous model, but in this case the couple is obviously applied on the coupling. Another kind of fault is the bearing misalignment. You can see here the effect of bearing misalignment represented by a force. Then we have a transverse crack which generates a complex system of forces with many harmonic components: a one per revolution component, a two per revolution component and a three per revolution component.
