When the vehicle runs on a rough road we will consider five objective functions, or objectives, or performance of the vehicle, which are namely: the discomfort; the standard deviation of the radial force on the front tyre; the standard deviation of the radial force on the rear tyre; the standard deviation of relative displacement of the front wheel-body; the standard deviation of relative displacement of the rear wheel-body. So we have 41 objectives to be accounted for when we have to optimise a vehicle system.
