The second application deals with a method of optimisation of the car chassis. The aim is to optimise the handling and comfort of a road vehicle. We can see here a road vehicle, which has two black boxes, which refer to the front and the rear axle. It is a model that we have developed which is able to describe the motion of a car on an even road. The problem that car manufactures usually have when they have to put into production a car is to tune the parameters which refer to the suspension system as well as tyres in order to get a vehicle with a good handling, good stability and good comfort. So, we deal with these problems and we cast these problems into a multi-objective programming problem.
